Hello everyone. I see the forum is just getting started. So I'd like to propose a new topic and ask for your opinions in the process. The growing importance of AI used in video and graphics processing design, I would like to ask for your thoughts on this topic.

Vision AI has been on the ascension for quite some time, I'd say quite discreetly, in recent times it really has started to become quite scary of what is capable. Some years ago we were using AI to detect objects in a scenes, and look for patterns for signs of cancer. Now it's capable of creating a scene given a text description! and technologies such as NeRF which produces astounding outputs from 2D images. Of course I haven't touched many areas where vision AI is becoming a important tool, such as autonomous vehicles, facial recognition, high speed quality checking and not least being able to edit out photo bombers from your Google Pixel 7 pictures.
