Anyone else getting horrible evening slowdown with Nexora broadband? Ours is fine through the day, then around 7pm it drops like a stone. Speed test just now was 12 down on a package that should be about 150. This has been going on for nearly a week and it’s driving me mad because streaming keeps buffering. Router rebooted, cables checked, all that. Is this just the normal 'peak time' thing or is there something wrong?
Same here in Leeds. Not as bad as yours maybe, but definitely slows in the evenings. I thought it was my old laptop at first but the phone is doing it too. Might be congestion?
Evening slowdown can be caused by local network congestion, Wi‑Fi interference, or a line fault. If you can, please run a test on a device connected by Ethernet around the time it slows down and share the results. Also let us know whether the slowdown affects all devices or only Wi‑Fi. If it's consistent on wired and wireless, we can check for a line issue and raise it if needed.
