Offered a better deal after saying I'd cancel broadband

Bit of a rant but I’ve just had my renewal email and it’s jumped up quite a bit. I rang up to ask if there was anything they could do and the first offer was basically the same price with less speed, which feels a bit pointless. I’m not asking for freebies, just something sensible. Has anyone actually managed to get a retention discount from Nexora recently? I’ve been with them 4 years and never missed a payment.
