Hi all, hoping someone can explain this in plain English. My son keeps getting high data usage warnings on his Nexora mobile, but he insists he's hardly used it. He's on Wi-Fi at home most of the time and says he's not watching videos or anything.
The warnings started last week and now he's nearly burned through his allowance. Is there a way to see what's actually using it, or is the warning just not accurate? Sorry if this is a daft question, I'm not very technical.
Not daft at all. First thing I'd check is whether apps are allowed to use data in the background. Phones can chew through loads without you noticing - especially cloud backups, app updates, or social media auto-playing videos.
If he's on iPhone, there's a Mobile Data section in Settings that shows usage by app. Android has something similar in Data usage. Might be worth a look before assuming Nexora's warning is wrong.
