Anyone else had this with Nexora mobile? My voicemail stopped working last week and when I try to set call forwarding it says it's active, but then random calls still ring out. I’ve rebooted the phone, checked settings, all that. It’s a Samsung on Android. I don’t know if it’s the SIM or some network thing. Proper pain because I’m missing calls from work.
I had something similar after switching phones. Have you tried dialling the voicemail number directly from the phone app? Mine was stuck after I changed call forwarding once. Also worth checking if the voicemail box is full, weirdly that can make it look like it’s broken.
Hi Megan, sorry you're dealing with this. We can help check whether voicemail and conditional call forwarding are correctly provisioned on the line. If you're happy to continue here, could you confirm whether calls are diverting to voicemail at all, or just ringing out? No need to post any personal details publicly.
It rings out. Sometimes I get the missed call text but no voicemail. I’ve checked the Samsung call settings and it says 'forward when unanswered' but I don't know if that's the same thing as Nexora voicemail? Sorry, I'm not very techy.
No problem at all. The handset setting and network voicemail are separate, so the phone can show forwarding even if the network side isn’t taking the call. I can see from your description this may need a line refresh on our side. Please dial 1750 from your Nexora mobile to check if voicemail is active. If it still rings out after that, we’ll need to raise this to our network team so they can reapply voicemail and call forwarding settings. If you want, I can do that next.
If it helps, mine was fixed by turning off Wi‑Fi calling for a bit and then re-enabling it after the voicemail reset. Not saying that’s the answer, just what worked for me.
Thanks Jules, that’s a useful tip. Megan, if you’ve got Wi‑Fi calling on, it can sometimes complicate forwarding behaviour during a fault, so it’s worth noting. If 1750 doesn’t help, reply back and we’ll escalate it.
