Bit fed up tbh. I’ve had 3 high data usage warnings this month and I’m nowhere near using what I used to. Nothing has changed at home. I’m on the 80GB plan and it says I’ve used 62GB already, but my phone says less than that. Is Nexora counting stuff twice or something?
Hi Mia, I can see why that’s frustrating. The warning is based on the account’s measured usage, which can sometimes differ from the phone’s own counter because apps, updates and hotspot use may be counted differently. If you’d like, we can check whether any devices on the account have been using more data than expected.
Have you got any smart speakers or cameras connected? Ours were the culprit when we got warnings every few days. Also if your phone’s on Wi‑Fi calling a lot it can look odd sometimes.
Yeah, definitely. Ours did a surprise update and then streamed in HD without me noticing. If you’ve got a TV stick or console, they can chew through loads in the background. This resolved my question.
