Hi all. My voicemail on the mobile line has stopped answering properly and call forwarding to my work phone keeps switching off after a day or so. I’ve checked the settings twice and it still does it. Is this a known Nexora issue or am I missing something obvious? It’s been like this since Tuesday. Really frustrating because I’m missing calls from my kids’ school and a plumber.
Hi Megan, sorry to hear this. I can help narrow it down. When you say voicemail isn’t picking up, is it not answering at all, or is it answering very late? Also, which forwarding option are you using - unconditional forwarding, or forwarding when busy/unanswered? If you’re happy to share, I can also check whether there’s a network-side feature flag causing the settings to revert.
I had this a while ago. On my Samsung it looked set, but the network hadn’t actually saved it. I had to turn call forwarding off, restart the phone, then set it again. Not saying that’s your issue, just worth a try. Also, voicemail can be weird if you’ve got Do Not Disturb on - mine was diverting to silence instead of voicemail.
Thanks both. Megan, I’ve checked the line and there isn’t an outage, but the forwarding profile is showing as partially provisioned, which can make it reset. I’ve refreshed the voicemail and call diverts on the network side. Please switch the phone off for 2 minutes, then back on, and re-set forwarding once only. If it still drops out after that, reply here and I’ll raise it to our technical team. This resolved my question.
