Hi, I’m a bit stuck and hoping someone can point me in the right direction. My broadband bill has gone up more than I expected this month and I won’t get paid until next Friday. I don’t want to ignore it and have it get worse. Can Nexora do a payment arrangement so I can split it or push it back a week? I’ve tried looking in the app but it just seems to send me round in circles. Thanks.
Hi Megan, yes, we can usually look at a payment arrangement if you’re temporarily short this month. I can’t access your account here, but if you log in to My Nexora and go to Bills > Help with payment, it should show whether you’re eligible to set one up online. If it doesn’t, the next step is to contact the billing team so they can review it with you. If you’d like, I can also outline what details they’ll normally ask for.
I had this with my mobile bill last year. If the app won’t offer it, it doesn’t always mean you’ve been refused — sometimes it’s just not showing the option yet. Might be worth trying on the website too. Mine worked there when the app was being weird.
Just to add, Megan — if you’re within a few days of payday, billing may be able to offer a short arrangement, but it depends on account history and any overdue balance. Please don’t make multiple partial payments unless the agent tells you to, as that can sometimes delay the arrangement being applied. If you’re unable to get it sorted online, the billing team can usually review it the same day. This resolved my question.
Thanks both. I’ve found the help section now, but it says I need to pay something first before it’ll let me arrange the rest. Is that right? I can manage a bit, just not the full amount today. I’ll ring billing if needed, but I was hoping to avoid being on hold for ages.
